Welcome to the official site of the Armenian Apostolic Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
This is the home of the Brotherhood of St. James, a monastic order of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
The Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem is His Beatitude Archbishop Nourhan Manougian.
The Armenian Patriarchate is located within the Armenian Monastery of St. James, in the Old City of Jerusalem. Under the authority of the Patriarchate fall amongst others the St. James Cathedral, the Monastery of the Holy Archangels, the Sts. Tarkmanchatz school, the Armenian Theological Seminary, the Gulbenkian Library, the Armenian Museum, the Jinishian Clinic, the bookstore, and the oldest, and still operative, Printing Press in the Holy Land; also the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, St. Saviour Church, the Church of the Tomb of Virgin Mary, Gethsemane, the St. Nicholas Armenian Convent in Jaffa, the St. Elias Church in Haifa, and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
