Feast day of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem

Tomorrow, Saturday the 5th of January we celebrate the Feast day of the Saints David, the prophet-king and of James, the brother of the Lord.
St. James the brother of our Lord is also called St. James the Just, or St. James the Less. Over the original burial site in the Cathedral stands now the Throne of St. James.
The Throne of St. James is used for two occasions only: the feast day of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and during the enthronement of a new Patriarch.
As tomorrow is the Feast Day of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Archbishop Nourhan Manougian, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem will sit on the Throne of St. James.
We cordially invite you to participate also tomorrow in the Divine Liturgy in the morning, in St. James Cathedral.
