Celebration of the Epiphany of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Jordan River.

At 10:00 am His Beatitude the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Nourhan Manougian and the Brotherhood of St. James, Seminarians and pilgrims leave from the Armenian Patriarchate for Jordan River.

At 11:00 His Beatitude the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Brotherhood of St. James arrive at the Baptismal Site at Jordan River, where they are welcomed by the military commander of the site.

At 11:15 a special service is celebrated by the St. James Brotherhood, presided by His Beatitude the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem at the banks of the Jordan River. The Armenian Community of Jordan will participate in the service from the Jordanian side of the river.
The service ends around 12:00.

At 12:15 the Brotherhood of St. James and the pilgrims leave the site for Jericho.

Because of the presence of landmines in the area of the Baptismal Site, we kindly request our pilgrims to follow security instructions.
